Antigua import regulations
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- An Original Bill of Lading will be necessary -document issued by a business that transports people, goods, or services or by a company's shipping department, accepting that specific goods have been received on board as cargo for shipping to a named place for delivery to the consignee who is usually identified.The document should go hand in hand with the original / copy of the freight document

- Detailed original commercial invoice-
It is used as a customs declaration provided by the person or corporation that is shipping cargo across international borders.Includes parties involved in the shipping transaction, the goods being transported, the country of manufacture.etc
- Unpacking note- An itemized list of cargo/goods usually included in each shipping package giving the description,quantity, and weight of the goods. This document should be prepared by the shipper and sent to consignee for correct account of the goods to be delivered.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- A lengthy list of household goods, food, personal items, and point of origin forbidden.
- Customer must confirm with the custom authorities to make sure goods due for shipment can be imported
- Duty and Tax Rate 78.25% of estimated CIF Value.
FORBIDDEN ITEMS

- Ammunition
- Illegal drugs
- Some goods (foods, alcohol, cigarettes, clothes, etc.) need import license if imported from any other country that is not a member of the OECS.
MOTOR VEHICLES
- Cars exceeding size limits below are not allowed
- Length - 17 feet 8 1/2 inches
- Width - 6 feet 7 inches
- Height - 13 feet 6 inches
- Used vehicles are to be estimated by Customs Valuation Officers

- Commercial Invoice for new cars
- Original ECCM Commercial Invoice that is signed.
